About the Artist
I am a fiber artist based in Utah, creating original needle-felted landscape artwork from wool. Drawn to the beauty and resilience of the natural world, I use layers of fiber to build richly textured scenes that capture both the character of a place and the feeling it inspires.
Working with wool allows me to create artwork that exists somewhere between painting and textile art. Each piece is handcrafted through thousands of needle-felting strokes, blending color, texture, and depth to bring landscapes to life.
As a mother of three, creating art has become both a creative outlet and a source of strength. In the midst of the demands, joys, and challenges of motherhood, the process of making art provides space to reflect, recharge, and reconnect with myself. The patience, perseverance, and resilience required in both motherhood and needle felting often feel deeply intertwined, each strengthening the other.
My work is inspired by the quiet strength found in nature—weathered mountains, open skies, winding trails, and the enduring beauty of wild places. Through my art, I hope to create moments of connection, reflection, and wonder, while celebrating the resilience that exists both in the landscape and within ourselves.
