Some places ask nothing of you except to slow down. This is one of them: a quiet valley at the end of the day, where the sky melts from soft blue into peach and the mountains settle into deep purple shadow.
Below the jagged ridgeline, a dark band of pines gives way to a bright, open meadow, glowing green in the last of the light. A cool blue river winds along its edge, tucked beside a stand of evergreens that feel close enough to step into. Every layer of wool adds depth and texture, from the wispy highlights on the peaks to the soft sweep of the grass, inviting you to linger a little longer.
It's a piece for the corner of your home where you go to breathe, a little window to stillness in the middle of a busy day.
